On all models the ignition system is united with system of injection of fuel and represents an incorporated control system of the engine from one block ECU.
On engines in volume of 1.6 litres the ignition system consists 2 coils of ignition. Each coil of ignition actually consists of 2 separate high-voltage windings which submit a spark to two cylinders everyone (one to cylinders № 1 and 4, and another to cylinders № 2 and 3). The ignition impulse moves at once on two spark plugs for each cycle of the engine, one on the compression step, one on an exhaust step (the ignition spark on a step of an exhaust does not render any influence on engine work and consequently it is spent for nothing). ECU uses inputs from various gauges to calculate demanded installation of an advancing of ignition and time of accumulation of energy in the ignition coil.
On engines in volume of 1.8 and 2.0 litres the ignition system consists of 2 modules of amplifiers and 4 coils of ignition. Each block of the amplifier of ignition operates two coils ignitions combined with candle tips and established directly on spark plugs, one coil on a candle. It excludes application of high-voltage wires. ECU uses inputs from various gauges to calculate demanded installation of an advancing of ignition and time of accumulation of energy in the ignition coil.
