6.2.2. The ignition coil

Removal

ENGINES IN VOLUME OF 1.6 LITRES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator. The ignition coil is established on the left forward end of a head of the block of cylinders.
2. Release a clamp and remove a socket from the ignition coil.
3. Mark high-voltage wires and disconnect them from the ignition coil.
4. Unscrew 4 screws of fastening and remove the ignition coil.

ENGINES IN VOLUME OF 1.8 AND 2.0 LITRES

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator. On the engine 4 separate coils of ignition everyone on the top part of a spark plug are established.
2. For access to ignition coils disconnect sockets in the left end of the block of ignition, then unscrew 6 bolts of fastening and remove the ignition block upwards with свеч ignitions. Separate coils of ignition can be removed from the ignition block if necessary.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
