7.5. Leading knot of coupling


1. Remove a transmission.
2. Note position of leading knot of coupling in relation to a flywheel, using a marker or a paint.
3. Gradually in diagonal sequence ослабьте bolts of leading knot of coupling, turning each bolt on half of turn until action of a spring and bolts will stop can be unscrewed manually.
4. By means of the lever remove leading knot of coupling from directing probes, remove a coupling disk.


The prevention

It is desirable to replace a disk of the coupling conducting knot of coupling and выжимной the bearing if at least one of them demands replacement in the complete set. For washing of leading knot and a coupling disk it is possible to use a cleaner of brakes or methyl spirit.

1. Check up overlays of a disk of coupling on deterioration, mechanical damages or pollution by oil.
2. In the presence of these defects it is necessary to replace a coupling disk.
3. If frictional overlays in a good condition also are not worn out to grooves, springs демпферов are reliably fixed and заклепочные connections are not loosened, the coupling disk can be established in the car.
4. If the coupling disk is polluted by oil, check up the left oil consolidation коленвала or a primary shaft of a transmission. If necessary replace sealing rings before installation of a new disk of coupling.
5. Check up knot of a leading disk on deterioration of a press disk, mechanical damages, reliability заклепочного connections, damage диафрагменной coupling springs. If the diaphragm spring is worn out or damaged, or there is a suspicion that elasticity of a spring it is necessary to replace knot of a leading disk has changed.
6. Check up working surfaces of a press disk and a flywheel, interfaced to overlays of a disk of coupling. They should be pure, flat, not have scratches and development. At presence коробления from a heat or cracks it is necessary to replace them.
7. Check up выжимной the bearing which should rotate easily, in regular intervals and silently. The working surface of the bearing influencing a press spring, should be smooth, without cracks, local corrosion or development. If there are these defects, выжимной it is necessary to replace the bearing. On leading knots of coupling of the second type it is necessary to replace all knot.


1. Establish a coupling disk that the nave of springs has been directed outside from a flywheel. On a coupling disk the marks specifying correctness of installation of a disk of coupling can be put.
2. Establish leading knot of coupling on the labels made at removal. Manually tighten bolts of fastening of leading knot of coupling.
3. Оправкой centre a coupling disk that the primary shaft of a transmission has passed through grooves in the centre of a disk of coupling.
4. The centering of a disk of coupling can be made, using special оправку or independently made оправку which sizes correspond to a primary shaft of a transmission.
5. In regular intervals and in diagonal sequence tighten bolts of fastening of a leading part of coupling.
6. Establish a transmission.
