13.21. A cruise-control control system
THE GENERAL DATA

The cruise-control control system copes vacuum. The main elements of system: the electronic control device (ECU), the vacuum pump, the electromagnetic valve, the executive mechanism and a cable. The system copes the switch on a steering column and switches on a brake and coupling pedal.

Removal and installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
The electronic control device (ECU)
1. Block ECU is located in a back part of a ware box. Remove the negative plug from the accumulator.
2. Take шарнирные fingers and uncover a ware box from the panel of devices. Unscrew the screw and uncover the panel of devices for access to block ECU.
3. Remove percussion caps and a cover of the bottom part of the panel of devices from outside the passenger.
4. Disconnect an electric socket, unscrew screws of fastening and remove block ECU from the bottom part of the panel of devices.
The vacuum pump
5. The vacuum pump is located in a motor compartment. Remove the negative plug from the accumulator.
6. Disconnect an electric socket and a vacuum hose from the pump. Unscrew screws and remove the pump from an arm.
The electromagnetic valve
7. The electromagnetic valve is located on an arm of fastening of the vacuum pump.
8. Remove the negative plug from the accumulator, remove from the electromagnetic valve an electric socket and a vacuum hose.
9. Unscrew screws and remove the electromagnetic valve from an arm in a motor compartment.
The executive mechanism and cable
10. Remove a cable from the spherical hinge of a cam of a throttle. Remove скобу fastenings and take a cover of a cable from an arm.
11. Disconnect a vacuum hose from the executive mechanism, unscrew a nut and take the executive mechanism and a cable from a motor compartment.
12. If necessary remove скобу fastenings of a cover of a cable and separate a cable from the executive mechanism.
13. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
