All messages, radio tape recorders concerning operating modes, are deduced on the central display of the control panel of the car.

The coded device against theft

The device is executed on the basis of the microprocessor. After switching-off of an autoradio tape recorder from the car electric system (accumulator removal, dismantle of a radio tape recorder or its initial installation) is necessary to enter a safety code. The radio tape recorder can be included only after input of a correct code.

Code input

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Include a radio tape recorder button ON. Press the button of 1 preliminary adjustment. On the display will appear 0---. Press some times buttons 18 or 20 that on the display there was a first figure of a code (7---). 2. For acknowledgement of input of the first figure and transition to input of the second figure of a code press the button 1. On the display will appear 70---. Press some times buttons 18 or 20 that on the display there was a second figure of a code (73-). 3. Do these operations for input of a correct code and in end press the button 1 for acknowledgement of input of the fourth figure of a code. If the entered code true the short signal of a high-pitch tone will be heard. The radio tape recorder is ready to work.

Case of input of an incorrect code

If at code input the error has been admitted, the short signal of low tone will be distributed. On the display there will be a message “ERR CODE”. Repetition of attempt of input of a code probably only after a pause 1 minute. Duration of the period of expectation increases twice after one more unsuccessful attempt. This period is limited approximately 32 minutes. Radio tape recorder deenergizing does not influence duration of an obligatory pause. Readout of time of a pause will be started over again at radio tape recorder inclusion. After the pause termination on the display there will be a message “CODE”. Now it is possible to enter a code.

The indicator 24 red colours blinks at the included ignition, specifying in inclusion of the accident protection device against theft. The indicator dies away at ignition or radio tape recorder inclusion.

After a detachment or repeated connection of the accumulator on the radio tape recorder display the message “CODE” is deduced. Enter a code.

Radio receiver

All basic functions which are carried out by a radio receiver, are similar to an autoradio tape recorder 4030. Besides, following functions are added:

Scanning of preliminary chosen radio stations. The radio tape recorder provides possibility of scanning of six preliminary chosen stations in any of ranges. In the course of scanning of radio stations it is possible to stop the choice on one of them.

Scanning of preliminary chosen radio stations working in one range. Choose a range which wish to scan. Is short press button SCN 22. At scanning all preliminary chosen radio stations working in the given range serially join. The sequence is defined by order of cells of the memory fixed to buttons 1–6. Scanning begins with radio station which is brought in a cell of memory of the button 1, or from the radio station following for chosen at present. Approximate duration of listening of each station (the mode THAT is switched off) makes:

 – Five seconds at high quality of reception;
 – Approximately one second at a weak radio signal.

Approximate duration of listening of each station (the mode THAT is included) makes:

 – Five seconds for the radio stations, capable to transfer road messages;
 – Approximately one second for the radio stations, not capable to transfer road messages.

Choice of radio station during scanning. Is short press button SCN 22 during listening of the pleasant radio station to leave a radio receiver adjusted on this station. The order of adjustment of a radio receiver on preliminary chosen radio stations does not change.

Scanning interruption. For interruption of scanning of preliminary chosen radio stations:

 – Choose any radio station;
 – Choose any function, except included by button TA/AF 12.

Player of audiocassettes

Search of the beginning of record in a pause. The given function allows to begin reproduction of current record with the beginning or the subsequent record on a tape. This function is based on searches of pauses between records. Search of the beginning of record can be carried out also by means of the remote control lever on a steering column.

Search of the beginning of the previous record. For search of the beginning of current record press the button 18. In the course of search of the beginning of record the sound is disconnected and on the display the message “PREV 1” After a finding of the beginning of record reproduction is deduced renews. This function can be included also by means of the remote control lever. N-fold pressing of the button 18 leads to transition to the beginning (n-1) to th record, considering from flowing. Thus on the display the message “PREV n” is deduced. During search of the beginning of the necessary record the sound is disconnected, and transitions are reflected in the display from the beginning of one record to the beginning another. After a finding of the beginning of the necessary record reproduction renews. By each pressing of the button 18 value n on the display increases by unit.

Search of the beginning of the following record. For search of the beginning of the following record press the button 20. In the course of search of the beginning of record the sound is disconnected and on the display the message “NEXT 1” is deduced. After a finding of the beginning of record reproduction renews. This function can be included also by means of the remote control lever on a steering column. N-fold pressing of the button 20 leads to transition to the beginning n-й to record, considering from flowing. Thus on the display the message “NEXT n” is deduced. During search of the beginning of the necessary record the sound is disconnected, and transitions are reflected in the display from the beginning of one record to the beginning another. After a finding of the beginning of the necessary record reproduction renews. By each pressing of the button 20 value n on the display increases by unit.

Scanning of records. Scanning function allows to hear quickly to initial fragments of all records on an audiocassette. Scanning is based on use of pauses between records. Is short press button SCN/RDM 22 to start scanning. Thus on the display the message “SCAN” will be deduced. The player will reproduce 10 second initial fragments of all records on an audiocassette, since record which follows the flowing. For the scanning termination is repeatedly short press button SCN/RDM 22. Reproduction will begin with record on which scanning has been interrupted.

CD-player

Compact disc scanning. Is short press button SCN/RDM 22. Thus each path of a compact disc will be lost within ten seconds. On the display the message “SC [path number]” stands out. For the scanning termination once again is short press the button “SCN/RDM” 22. Compact disc reproduction will be continued from a path which was lost at the moment of scanning cancellation.

Reproduction of records in a casual order. Press the button “SCN/RDM” 22 and keep it not less than two seconds. Inclusion of a mode of reproduction of records in a casual order confirms a short sound signal. Reproduction begins with that disk which you listened at the moment of inclusion of the given mode. At first CD-player reproduces all records of a current compact disc in a casual order, then passes to following compact discs. After exhaustion of all stock of compact discs in disk shop of CD-player comes back to the first compact disc. At reproduction of records in a casual order on the display the message “RD [path number] CD” and number of a lost compact disc constantly stands out. [Path number] defines record position on a compact disc. For cancellation of a mode of reproduction of records in a casual order repeatedly press button SCN/RDM 22 and keep it not less than two seconds.
