 Removal

 | PERFORMANCE ORDER |
 |

 | 1. Lift a back part of the car and fix on supports. Remove a corresponding back wheel. |
 | 2. Unscrew screws, крепящие a brake drum to a nave. |
 | 3. Check up that the manual brake is completely released, and remove a brake drum from the car. The drum can badly act in film from a nave in connection with corrosion of a nave or because it is kept brake колодками. In the first case for removal of a drum from a nave knock on drum perimetre with a plastic hammer or wooden киянкой. Of the second case be convinced that the manual brake is completely released, and execute following actions. |
 | | 4. Completely ослабьте a regulator of a cable of a manual brake to receive the maximum deflection in a cable. Remove a stopper () from a back part of a brake board (a stopper usually окашивается dark blue colour) and, using a screw-driver, move the lever of a manual brake to brake колодке against the stop. It will allow to take away brake колодки from a brake drum therefore the drum will easily act in film from a nave. | | Check

 | PERFORMANCE ORDER |
 |

 | 1. Being careful, clear an internal surface of a brake drum of a brake dust and a dirt. |
 | 2. Clear an external surface of a brake drum and check up on obvious signs of deterioration or damage, presence of cracks round apertures under bolts of fastening of a wheel. If necessary replace a drum. |
 | 3. Check up an internal part of a brake drum. Insignificant development of a drum from action колодок is the normal phenomenon. |
 | 4. Measure an internal working surface of a drum in several places. Compare results of the received measurements. If results differ from each other, means, the drum has the oval form. If the measured maximum size of internal diameter of a drum is in admissible limits it it is necessary перешлифовать. If deterioration of a drum exceeds admissible limits, it is necessary to replace brake drums on both back wheels. | |
 Installation

 | PERFORMANCE ORDER |
 |

 | 1. At installation of a new brake drum use solvent for removal from it a protective film. If necessary reduce length of an adjusting lath brake колодок, rotating an adjusting wheel of a lath. |
 | 2. Check up that the lever of a manual brake is established opposite to edge brake колодки, and that working surfaces of a brake drum and a nave pure and dry. |
 | 3. Establish a brake drum on a nave and fix screws, tightening their demanded moment. |
 | 4. Some times press a brake pedal to put in action the mechanism of adjustment of a backlash brake колодок. |
 | 5. Adjust a cable of a manual brake. |
 | 6. Establish a wheel and lower the car. | | |
