3.1.14. The oil pump Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Remove the oil pallet.

2. Unscrew two screws of fastening and uncover asterisks a forward part of the oil pump.

3. Unscrew three bolts of fastening of the oil pump to the block of cylinders. Remove a chain from an asterisk of the pump and remove the oil pump. If necessary remove a lining which is established under the pump.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Check up an asterisk of the oil pump on deterioration. If the asterisk is worn out, it is necessary to replace the oil pump since the asterisk separately is not delivered. In this case also it is recommended to replace a chain and a leading asterisk.

2. Unscrew fastening bolts маслоприемника to the pump.

3. Remove маслоприемник and take a safety valve and a spring.

4. Check up a condition of rotors of the pump on deterioration signs. At deterioration of rotors the pump is subject to replacement.

5. Check up the safety valve piston on signs of deterioration and if necessary replace. The spring condition can be estimated only comparing to a new spring. The safety piston and a spring are delivered as spare parts.

6. Clear the mesh filter маслоприемника corresponding solvent.

7. Establish a spring of a safety valve and the piston in маслоприемник. Establish маслоприемник on the pump and fix bolts.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER

1. Establish прокладочную a plate and put on a chain a pump asterisk. Establish the pump on the block of cylinders and fix bolts.

2. Establish a cover of an asterisk of the oil pump.

3. Establish the pallet.

4. Before engine start fill with oil greasing system. For this purpose remove an electric socket from a fuel atomizer and, turning a starter the engine, wait, the control bulb of pressure of oil will not go out yet. After that connect a socket to a fuel atomizer and start the engine.
