3.1.18. A suspension bracket of the power unit Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For access improvement to a suspension bracket of the power unit lift a forward part of the car and fix on supports.
2. Check up a condition of rubber elements of the engine on presence of cracks, ageing and stratification.
3. Check up reliability of fastening of engine mounts.
4. Moving the engine here and there, check up люфт in engine mounts. Люфт should be insignificant even at new elements of a suspension bracket.

Replacement

THE RIGHT SUSPENSION BRACKET

PERFORMANCE ORDER
Models of engines of 1.6 litres
1. Disconnect the negative plug from the accumulator. Move hoses and electroconducting so that they did not interfere with removal of the right suspension bracket.
2. Establish under the engine a jack and through wooden брусок raise the engine until all weight of the engine will not be perceived by a jack.
3. Unscrew three nuts of fastening of the right suspension bracket to the engine and one nut of fastening to a rubber element of a suspension bracket. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the top terminator of the right installation of a suspension bracket and four bolts of fastening of a suspension bracket to a body.
4. Remove a rubber pillow from a suspension bracket rack, unscrew a rack of a suspension bracket and remove it.
5. Check up all elements of a suspension bracket on signs of deterioration and if necessary replace.
6. Establish a suspension bracket rack on a body and screw bolts, having tightened their demanded moment. Arrange a suspension bracket to a head of the block of cylinders and fix its bolts.
7. Establish the terminator of a course and fix its bolts.
8. Establish a rubber pillow on a rack of installation of a suspension bracket.
9. Screw up nuts of fastening of a suspension bracket.
10. Remove a jack from under the engine and connect the accumulator plug.
Models of engines of 1.8 and 2.0 litres
11. Disconnect the negative plug from the accumulator. Move hoses and electroconducting so that they did not interfere with removal to the right suspension bracket.
12. Establish under the engine a jack and through wooden брусок raise the engine until all weight of the engine will not be perceived by a jack.
13. Unscrew two nuts and two bolts of fastening of the right suspension bracket to the engine. Unscrew a nut of fastening of a suspension bracket to a rubber element.
14. Unscrew a bolt of fastening of the top terminator of a course and four bolts of fastening of a suspension bracket to a body.
15. Remove a rubber pillow from an installation rack, unscrew a rack from a body and remove from the car.
16. Check up all elements of a suspension bracket on signs of deterioration and if necessary replace.
17. Establish a suspension bracket rack on the car and tighten fastening bolts. Place a suspension bracket on a forward part of a head of the block of cylinders and tighten bolts.
18. Establish the terminator of a course and fix its bolts.
19. Establish a rubber pillow on a rack of installation of a suspension bracket.
20. Screw up nuts of fastening of a suspension bracket. Remove a jack from under the engine and connect the accumulator plug.

THE LEFT SUSPENSION BRACKET

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Remove the air filter.
2. Establish under the engine a jack and through wooden брусок raise the engine until all weight of the engine will not be perceived by a jack.
3. Unscrew the central nut of fastening of the left forward suspension bracket. Unscrew nuts of fastening of a suspension bracket and take it from a motor compartment.
4. If necessary unscrew a rack from the top part of a transmission.
5. Check up all elements of a suspension bracket on signs of deterioration and if necessary replace.
6. Clear a carving part of installation and cover with its structure interfering unscrewing. Establish a rack to the top part of a transmission and screw bolts.
7. Establish a rubber pillow, screw up bolts and the central nut. Remove a jack.
8. Establish the air filter and connect the negative plug of the accumulator.
