THE GENERAL DATA

THE ELECTRONIC CONTROL DEVICE (ECU)

It is the main component of system operating the moment of time of injection, the increased turns of idling, candles накаливания, system of repeated burning of the fulfilled gases.

Block ECU receives signals from the gauges supervising temperature of the cooling liquid, engine turns, work of a fuel atomizer and engine loading. These signals are used by block ECU for management of system.

Block ECU is located in a plastic box which is established on the right arch of a wheel.

Removal

Before removal of any of elements of fuel system disconnect the negative plug of the accumulator.

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Uncover block ECU (it is specified by an arrow).
2. Disconnect an electric socket, preliminary having lifted the lock lever in the top part of a socket.
3. Remove a socket from a back part, disconnect a forward part and remove block ECU from pins.
4. Lift block ECU upwards and remove it from a box.
5. If necessary remove box ECU, having unscrewed internal and external bolts of fastening.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

THE GAUGE OF TURNS КОЛЕНВАЛА

The gauge of turns коленвала is located on the forward party картера couplings.

It is the inductive generator of impulses creating impulses at passage about it of teeths of a gear wreath of a flywheel.

GAUGE TEMPERATRURY OF THE COOLING LIQUID

The gauge of temperature of a cooling liquid is термистр with negative temperature factor, that is at increase in temperature of the gauge its resistance decreases.

THE GAUGE OF ATMOSPHERIC PRESSURE

The gauge of atmospheric pressure is located in block ECU. This gauge is used to regulate the moment of injection of fuel depending on height.

THE GAUGE OF ABSOLUTE PRESSURE

The gauge is integral part ECU and cannot be removed separately.

THE LOADING GAUGE

The loading gauge on the fuel pump of high pressure Bosch


The gauge (it is specified by an arrow) consists of a potentiometer, whose resistance is measured depending on position of a pedal of an accelerator. Under this information ECU can regulate the moment of injection of fuel depending on position of a pedal and engine loading.

The loading gauge is established in the top part of the fuel pump of a high pressure. Though it can be removed separately, for adjustment of position of the gauge after installation special equipment Peugeot into place is required. Therefore replacement of this gauge should be made at station Peugeot.

THE GAUGE OF LIFTING OF THE NEEDLE OF THE ATOMIZER

The gauge of lifting of a needle of an atomizer – an integral part of one of fuel atomizers which sends a signal to block ECU at atomizer opening.

THE BLOCK OF MANAGEMENT OF SYSTEM OF PRELIMINARY HEATING

This relay operated block ECU, connecting to candle block ECU накаливания systems of prestarting heating for a certain time at start of the cold engine.

EGR-КЛАПАН

Return of a part of exhaust gases to an inlet collector copes block ECU in a combination with EGR the electromagnetic valve and the EGR-valve. The vacuum from the vacuum pump goes to the EGR-valve through the electromagnetic valve according to frequency of rotation of the engine, loading and height.

Check

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. If in system there is a malfunction, check up that all electric sockets are connected and not oxidised.
2. Check up, that the filtering element of the air filter was pure, pressure of a compression in cylinders of the engine within norm and hoses of ventilation of the engine are not damaged.
3. If outwardly everything is all right, and malfunction is present at system, it is necessary to check up fuel system at station Peugeot.

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Track electroconducting from the gauge to a connector of electroconducting and disconnect it from the main plait.
2. Remove a rubber condensing ring, unscrew bolts and take the gauge from картера.

Installation

Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.

CABLE AND MANAGEMENT DIAPHRAGM

Removal

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. For the best access remove an air inlet from a forward part of the engine.
2. Note position of a cable of management concerning the lever and disconnect a cable from the fuel pump of a high pressure.
3. Remove a vacuum hose () from diaphragm knot (In – bolts of fastening of an arm).
4. Release a cable from скоб fastenings, unscrew 2 bolts of fastening of an arm and remove an arm from a final collector.

Installation

PERFORMANCE ORDER
1. Installation is made in sequence, return to removal.
2. Adjust the raised turns of idling.
